Latest Update: v1.1.0 ~ Sorting & Smart Search

Remember every wine, favorite the ones you love, and save the moments that made it unforgettable. Because wine is more than a label.
Whether it’s reading a good book or celebrating with family and friends, wine is meant to be savored and enjoyed. So, don’t log your wines like a spreadsheet. Instead, treat each moment as a memory with an app that celebrates the event that inspired the wine.

Uncorked sets itself apart through its user experience, seamless integration with Apple platforms, and unwavering commitment to data privacy. Nevertheless, the core essence of the application lies in its dedicated focus on preserving the cherished memories associated with wine.
After getting laid off during a company restructure, I finally had the time—and push—I needed to chase a dream I’d been putting off for years: building my first iOS app.
Over 6 months, I learned SwiftUI from the ground up, turning a tough moment into something meaningful. My first idea was a simple starter app. Then I pivoted to building a CRM app for freelancers called ”Clients”. But somewhere along the way, something more personal took over.
My wife—who’s a huge wine fan—kept asking if I could make an app to help us track the wines we loved. I kept saying no. I didn’t want to make just another spreadsheet with bottle photos and ratings. It felt flat. But then I realized something: it wasn’t about the wine itself. It was about the moment.
The bottle we opened on the patio after good news. The one we shared with friends on a random Tuesday that turned into a great night. The places, the people, the memories.
That’s when everything clicked. I put my previous apps on hold, and started building ”Uncorked”. Not to "track" wine, but to capture the stories behind it.
This is the first app I’ve ever built—hope you like it. 🍷
